• Would you recommend it? Yes
• Positive: The staff is warm, friendly, and helpful, and spoke English well, making communication easy. The price is low, with discounts for multiple-night stays; and it's a reasonable walk to Sol, the Palace, and many sights, or take the Metro from Noviciado Station, only half a block away. Although the two rooms we stayed in were small, they were very clean, quiet, nicely decorated, and the owners added nice little touches like folding the towels into swans on the bed to welcome guests.
• Negative: The stairs in the building are worn, and the bathroom in our room was tiny... but for the price of the room, a private bath was an unexpected extra.
