• Cleanliness: 5 Fine. Bit grubby in the rooms but at this price point you expect that.
• Location: 10 Could hardly be better.
• Common facilities and services: 5 Wifi is unreliable in room 9. Wifi access can be had in the common seating area, but they've installed energy-efficient lights that cut out after sixty seconds; so you have to stand up and dance every minute to see what you are doing. The management of this hotel are not thinking straight.
• Staff: Not rated Staff were poor: especially "Tomas". He refused to acknowledge the issue with the Wifi in my room and refused to shift me to another (though I could see the rooms being vacated, and other staff had told me that rooms were available). Tomas was rude and blustery when politely challenged, and tried to pretend that I couldn't type the Wifi key in (I work in computing; the technical issuse was that they had daisy-chained their routers, and my room was at the end of the chain, so though I could connect to the router, the router could not connect to the internet). One thing Tomas said to me pretty much summed up the attitude: "If you have a problem with the facilities then that's your problem, not mine". That isn't the half of it, but I'll stop there. I asked a nice secretary who had arranged my accommodation to talk on the phone with him, perhaps smooth things out, and instead he became even more aggressive and shouty on the phone and reduced her to tears. Imagine an macho taxi driver, but managing a hotel. Not a good recipe for customer service.
• Quietness: 2.5 Room 9 has some kind of drainage pipe running down it. Every half-hour you get the whole gurgling pipes-knocking noise performance. (I don't actually mind that, but know lots of people would.)
• Room: 5 Small room, poor view. But you don't go to a hotel like this expecting anything else.
• Value for money: Not rated I did not get what I paid for and I had to leave after 48 hours.
