• Would you recommend it? Yes
• Positive: Location: Close proximity to Opera metro stop, Royal Palace, Puerta del Sol, and Gran Via. Rooms are super clean and staff is super friendly.
• Negative: The elevator is small, but they all are in Europe and at least they have one :)
• I RECOMMEND it for... Young travelers, Older travelers, Families, Couples, Luxury, Peace seekers, Modern style lovers, Handicapped, Budget travelers, Business travelers, Healthy lifestyle
• I recommend it especially AGAINST... Travelers with a car
• Cleanliness: 10 The modern sections is amazing but the older section is still clean too.
• Location: 10 1 minute walk to the Opera metro station and 5 minutes to the Royal Palace. Puerta del Sol and Gran Via are also 5-7 minutes away. There is also a 24 hour market in between the hostal and metro stop (about a 1 minute walk).
• Common facilities and services: 10 Bathrooms and rooms are super clean. Free wifi and they offer free continental breakfast at the cafe around the corner (you receive a voucher for each day you stay)
• Staff: 10 Margarita and Teresa are the friendliest people.
• Quietness: 10
• Room: 10 The rooms on the renovated side are the nicest but even in the older wing the rooms are nice and even the shared bathrooms are clean.
• Value for money: 10 Great value for all of the features.

• Positive: Really cosy place --- the elderly ladies who run it are really such great people.Margharita who is at the reception tries to help out to the utmost and gave me a room upgrade for free without even me asking for it !...really sweet !
• Negative: Nothing really- only perhaps the entry could be more visible via signages as its a bit inconspicuous.Otherwise, no cribs at all.
