• Location: 10 Walking distance to Madrid%27s shopping, museums and central attractions. Very close to many bars and restaurants.
• Common facilities and services: 7.5 Good buffet breakfast room, nice reception with friendly staff.
• Staff: 10 Reception staff were friendly and helpful

• Room: 7.5 Room was basic but clean and comfortable. Nice bathroom. My room had view over inner courtyard which was okay but nothing special
• Value for money: 7.5 For its location in the centre of a major city I felt it was good value.

• Common facilities and services: Not rated Elevator was out of service. There was a charge for 15 minutes of Internet service in the lobby, and it was dreadfully slow.
• Staff: 7.5 The staff was very courteous; however we did not get the room we reserved. In other words, it was not as advertised on the Internet.

• Room: Not rated Room was dark and dingy. Air conditioning unit was ineffective. Furnishings very minimal - mattresses were awful.
• Value for money: Not rated Based upon the advertisement on the Internet, we believed we had a spacious, clean room reserved with a nice bathroom. That is not what we got. We checked out after one night - rather than the 2 we reserved - and paid twice what we should have for this room.

• Room: 10 My room was small but comfortable enough for my needs. I had a view to a Plaza and a small balcony.
• Value for money: 10 I had breakfast included with the room.

• Room: Not rated Es lamentable tener que pagar casi 100 euros por una habitación doble tan pequeña, una cama incomoda y con vistas a un patio interior, me pareció un robo
• Value for money: 2.5 Mala, quizá existan otras habitaciones mejores en el Hostal pero donde me alojé era´una habitación muy pequeña con una cama donde no se podía descansar, pues el colchón estaba en malas condiciones. Además tuvimos que cambiar la habitación sencilla por una doble una noche, pagar 100 euros por una cama asi para dos personas me parace un abuso por muy bien situado que esté el hostal. Deberían mejorar las habitaciones por el precio que se paga
