• Positive: not a bad location, but we could have gone nearer the ramblas
• Negative: Everything ok really, but as I said, the daytime receptionist preferred to keep us waiting for a couple of minutes, every time we wanted the keys, instead of attending to us straight away. He was "politely offhand"

• Cleanliness: 10 extremely clean
• Location: 5 near to la ramblas, but right on the red light district, this was not a problem for ourselves, the people outside did not annoy us at all.
• Common facilities and services: 5 There was a place to keep our luggage,& a drinks machine, with a couple of tables,& tv, but Barcelona is not a place to stay in your lodgings & watch tv or chat, so again, no problem.
• Staff: 5 Night staff really friendly, day time receptionist was ok, but a bit ignorant, &, as I said, the cleaners were well efficient.
• Quietness: 7.5 Our room was at the back of the hostel, so there was very limited noise from outside (dog barking, but not constantly)Other guests made noise with slamming doors, as they went to the communal WC on the landing, & some talking loudly as they came in from a night out, but, overall, no problem.
• Room: 7.5 No view, adequate double bed, wardrobe, very modern bathroom (shower & sink). There was a grill on the window, so very secure.
• Value for money: 2.5 On the website, we were quoted less than we paid, & again, the receptionist asked if we wanted to be billed in £%27s or Euro%27s, so we said Euro%27s, then he apologised & said "Sorry, but the bill has come through in £%27s" (conveniently). On the bottom of the Credit card slip, it does state that we should have been given a choice of payment(which we were)but I think the receptionist put it through in pounds, instead of the euros that we wanted to pay.

• Location: Not rated the best place if you want to pay for sex, I%27ve never seen so many prostitutes in front of a hotel
• Common facilities and services: 2.5 Hookers every meters and thanksfully a grocery shop a few blocks away. Otherwise walking distance from the ramblas, there is a good side to every turd
