• Positive: Upon arrival we were upgraded to a suite which was very clean and the room decor was very modern. The bathroom was fantastic with an amazing shower. The location of the hotel is brilliant and you will have no problems finding it from Sol metro station.
• Negative: There is a lot of noise from outside and from other rooms. The fact that reception is not separated from the guest bedrooms does make it very loud if your room is close as people are often asking questions. If they got double glazing for the windows, it would make a lot of difference. Breakfast is limited but very close and at least it is prepared fresh for you. However, saying all that, I would stay again if I had the chance.

• Common facilities and services: 5 Breakfast was too late for a tourist coming to visit Madrid (it started from 8.15, but you couldn't finish before 9.00). It was a bit basic - a big slice of bread wit tomato sauce or olive oil or ham and cheese or pate.
• Staff: 7.5 Hotel staff was OK, but the staff from the breakfast cafe was very slow.
• Quietness: Not rated The outrageus noise was coming exclusively from the street.
• Room: 7.5 The room was very good except the shower. Yout couldn't use it without having all the bathroom wet (it didn't have any kind of door or curtain) and it was fixed.
• Value for money: 7.5
