generell sehr sauber, täglicher Handtuchwechsel, alle 2-3 Tage Wechsel der Bettwäsche. Zimmer wurden leider des Öfteren erst am späteren Nachmittag gemacht.

Für uns war die sehr zentrale Lage hervorragend, ideal für den Besuch sämtlicher Sehenswürdigkeiten sowie Shoppingtouren. Allerdings auch ziemlich Strassenlärm, aber erträglich wenn die Fenster zu sind.

Frühstück war gut und reichhaltig, aber jeden Tag dasselbe. Spa und Poolbereich entspricht in keiner Weise den sehr geschönten Fotos. W-LAN auf dem Zimmer hat erst beim 2. Anlauf gut funktioniert. Schiebe-Schranktür klemmte und war deshalb schwer zu öffnen. Konnte offensichtlich auf die Schnelle nicht repariert werden.

Leider sehr hellhörig, vor allem was den Innenlärm betrifft. Der Strassenlärm war bei geschlossenen Fenstern gut erträglich. Muss man halt in Kauf nehmen, dafür echtes Grossstadtflair direkt vor der Haustür.

Zimmer sind nicht riesig, aber durchaus ausreichend. Schönes funktionierendes Bad, sep. Waschbecken im Zimmer, Fernseher, Minibar, alles was man braucht war da. Ausblick auf die sehr belebte Strasse für uns kein Nachteil.

Abgesehen vom Wellnessbereich war alles wie wir es erwartet hatten, nicht mehr, aber auch nicht weniger.

Housekeeping was eratic; like most US travelers, we didn't carry washcloths with us and had to request them every day. The room was not ready when they said it would be on our arrival; we had to request that the room be made up at 4:00PM one day. It took her only 5 minutes. The jacuzzi was cold and full of soap bubbles the one time I tried it. No hooks or drawers for clothing.

When it was cleaned, it was well cleaned. The scheduling and details were issues with us.

Close to Pl. Catalunya and transportation. Also within walking distance for most people of favorite Barcelona features.

The restaurant, lobby and elevators were fine. The pool, though small, was very nice. The jacuzzi was too cold and had soap bubbles in it when I tried it. The shower that one is supposed to use before getting into the pool/jacuzzi had soap provided, which may be part of the problem with the jacuzzi; it also was inscrutable to me as to how to turn it on.

One desk clerk was pretty negative - always said "it couldn't be done" before trying to solve a problem. Liked Victor very much and the young ladies who helped periodically. Restaurant help very nice.

Despite being on a busy street, the room was very quiet. There was no sound from adjacent rooms or the hallway at all.

No drawers or hooks for clothing either in the bathroom or the closet. No wash cloths provided (US travelers to not usually bring them.) Very nice mirrors - full length and well-placed. Attractive furnishings. Some might find the beds a little firm, but we liked them. The TV had a good selection of stations for various nationalities. Liked the modern arrangement for lighting and temperature control.

It was about what I expected, with nice surprises about accessibility (I need a walker). Restaurant menu nicely varies and good quality.

Centrally located, within walking distance of the metro and city centre. Professional and helpful staff

Bedroom walls somewhat thin. If neighbours are close to the walls and speak loudly you can hear. You can't hear the neighbouring bathrooms however, so there was no real problem.
