• Positive: The terrace beside my room - and the fact that the whirlpool bath actually worked!
• Negative: Having asked for a kettle by email prior to arrival, it was not in my room at check-in. I immediately returned to front desk to get one but on returning to my room and opening it to fill I found it soiled brown and nasty inside - had to go to the front desk (3rd time in 20 mins now, I haven't even sat down yet!) to find no others available, told to come back later. 2 hours later (4th visit to front desk) a decent kettle was provided. Like many Brits, I love to make a cup of tea on arrival and 'settle in', so it was a bumpy start.
