• Negative: We had requested a higher room on booking 3 and a half months in advance and, while we were advised this could not be guaranteed, we were very disappointed to be given a first floor room. The reception staff appeared unaware of our request. As a result, we were unable to use the balcony in the evening due to the traffic noise and fumes which was a shame as we booked a triple room and were travelling with a small child so would have liked to have used the balcony in the evenings.
