• Cleanliness: 10 We enjoyed the room facing the plaza with the xception that it was difficult to sleep if we kept our door open. Madrid stays awake late into the night. So we requested a room with an inside window for the next evening and the hotel gladly made the change, even moving our luggage while we were out. They are quick to respond to one%27s requests.

• Staff: 10 The staff is outstanding! Both those individuals on during the day and late at night. They meet your every need. All you have to do is ask.

• Room: 10 Very comfortable rooms. Appear to have been recently remodeled. Window or doors to the outside are clearly designed to filter out any outside noice.
• Value for money: 10 Very reasonable price for the excellent amenities and central location.

• Cleanliness: 10 i thought everything was very clean and well cared for. watching the staff clean a room will tell you why.
• Location: 10 we were right in the thick of things. you could relax at the outdoor seating and watch the world go by.
• Common facilities and services: 10 the lobby was lovely, highly acceptable restaurant (as mentioned at several web-sites for budget travelers),outdoor seating
• Staff: 10 front staff was very helpful and always welcoming, coming and going.
• Quietness: 7.5 i had seen this as a complaint, so asked for a room on upper floor on the inside--away from activity along the pedestrian walkway. might have been very noisy if i hadn%27t done that.
• Room: 7.5 it was small but acceptable size with a comfortable (though very hard) bed. bathroom was lovely. view was an inside court. it would have been more interesting to have had a room facing all the activity around the plaza, but we opted for a more quiet location.
• Value for money: 10 we didn%27t really find any "values" in Spain because of the weakness of the dollar, but i did a lot of internet shopping and Hotel Europa was one of the least expensive i found, and it was so much nicer than i expected, and as i said, the location couldn%27t be beat.
