• ここが良かった: Quietness of room, lack of noise between rooms and floors. Relaxed, cool ambience, good breakfast. The green/red light system to show whether someone is in their room is a very good idea, and saves the maid coming in unannounced as well as knowing whether friends/relatives are in. I liked the old fashioned lift. It didn't always quite work properly but was a lovely feature.
• ここが気に入らなかった: Fixed showerhead made ways of using the shower were restricted and at times I had to operate the shower tap with my foot because I didn't want to get my hair wet every time I was in the shower. Also, it is one thing to offer a bath as well, but the surfaces of these shower baths are very rough which really makes a sit down bath uncomfortable, so perhaps it would be better to have a larger, more luxurious shower instead, especially if you don't offer more flexibility than the fixed showerhead. The bed was too firm. It was like a board and gave me backache. When booking we were promised a tour of Madrid which wasn't even offered when we got there. A roof terrace was mentioned in the blurb somewhere but it wasn't on offer once we were there.

• 立地条件について: 10 Really good spot. I love finding quiet spots close to the action and this was exactly that.
• 設備やサービスについて: 7.5 The common room didn't feel like the sort of area you would want to linger. It's overlooked by some of the rooms, that might be why. Restaurant was quite comfortable
• スタッフ: 10 Very efficient and courteous staff. I noted that they seemed to patrol the front door late at night sometimes.
• 騒音について: 10 Despite proximity to a lot of major sights and shopping streets, the secondary glazing in our two window corner room was very good. It didn't shut out the noise of the bells from the monastery next door but once I'd got used to them it didn't bother me as they weren't very intrusive.
• 客室について: 5 Very comfortable, although the bed was really much too firm.
• 満足度は？: 10 For two rooms right next to eachother in the middle of town I think this hotel was very good value.
