• Would you recommend it? Yes
• Positive: 1) The location - perfect for the Barri Gotic, the port and Place de la Catalunya, 2) The room - we were in a deluxe, and it was exactly that, massive bed, jacuzzi bath, clean and spacious. 3) The staff, very helpful and friendly, a warm welcome.
• Negative: It%27s not a "dislike", but maybe the price could have been a little more reasonable, but as we were there for a special occasion, we pushed the boat out.
• I RECOMMEND it for... Young travelers, Older travelers, Couples, Luxury, Business travelers

• Location: 10 Right on Las Ramblas, but if you get a room at the back of the hotel, overlooking the garden, you wouldn%27t know you%27re above one of the busiest roads in the city. It%27s great to be able to walk out of the front door and straight onto the main street, or left into Barri Gotic. Ideal location.
• Common facilities and services: 7.5 Due to the size of the hotel, there%27s no pool/health facilties etc, a sauna/dip in a pool after a long day sightseeing would be the icing on the cake at this impressive hotel.
• Staff: 10 All very friendly, and all spoke English too. Very impressed.
• Quietness: 7.5
• Room: 10 The Deluxe room was superb, huge, with the biggest bed I%27ve ever seen (which reclines!), a separate lounge area, and big shower as well as jacuzzi bath.
• Value for money: 7.5 I expected to have to pay more for a "deluxe" room, but 230 euros per night does still seem a little steep.

• Location: 10 right on Las Rambla, very convenient for key sites and the airport bus
• Common facilities and services: 7.5 breakfast seemed a little expensive at 12 euros and we never saw anyone have it. Useful free internet access.
• Staff: 10 extremely pleasant & professional,not intrusive, spoke excellent English

• Location: 10 Directly on La Rambla so everything on doorstep.
• Common facilities and services: 2.5 12 Euros each for Breakfast!!!

• Room: Not rated Only views from room were brick walls. Very little natural light. No tea/coffee facilities. Room was pretty poor standard for 165 Euros a night.
• Value for money: 2.5 Well overpriced, I%27ve stayed in Travel Lodges with better in room facilities and views.
