• Room: Not rated he estado 2 veces en el hotel y voy a repetir, pero la 2ª vez la habitacion que pedi doble para dos personas, era excesivamente pequeña. 2 personas con sus maletas no caben bien.

• Cleanliness: 10 Everthing was neat and clean
• Location: 10 We had walks of less than 20 minutes to the three key Madrid museums and the Palace, walking through interesting neighborhoods. Starbucks was just around the corner for homesick Americans. Great shopping nearby (big store)
• Common facilities and services: 7.5 Internet availability was free - even computers were provided. Bikes for touring the area for more adventurous. No pool! But we're talking about City Center Madrid, so one wasn't expected.
• Staff: 10 All front desk people spoke English and were able to give helpful directions about restaurants, sights and so forth.
• Quietness: 2.5 We were very close to Gran Via - one of the busiest streets in Madrid. It seemed to quiet down between midnight and 5 am, but if you are light sleeper, you might not do so well. All of us slept fine regardless of the noise.
• Room: 7.5 On the "Swiss" model - a little modern and crisp compared with American hotels, but quite nice and serviceable. It was set up for families, though - and we traveled comfortably with our 20 year-old daughter (one king bed - not two twins pushed together as is frequently the case in Europe) and a bunk-bed with one bed swung up out of the way.
• Value for money: 10 Considering that we were in the heart of the big shopping district and close to museums, got free Internet (sometimes a $10 - 15 Euro upcharge in other hotels), and paid an average of 115 Euros a night, I thought the value was fantastic.
