• Would you recommend it? Yes
• Positive: The price and the location ... a cheap stay right in the heart of Barcelona next to the scenic harbour area and the gothic quarter. Good value for money.
• Negative: The bedroom and bathroom were small (but all we really wanted was a bed for the night anyway). The state of the room was far from perfect (air conditioner panel missing / peeling paint / balcony door not sliding properly etc) ... but again at this price we weren't expecting luxury.

• Cleanliness: 5 The room was cleaned ever day to our satisfactiion though many of the fittings were old / in poor condition
• Location: 10 Right next to historic Gothic / Born quarters and the scenic harbour areas
• Common facilities and services: 5 Didn't use them ... just wanted a base to explore Barcelona from & that's what we got ... at a cheap price
• Staff: 5 There was the language barrier. They dealt with any problems we had .. but not overfriendly with it.
• Quietness: 5 The garbage collectors made a surprising amount of noise sometimes as late as midnight or as early as 6:30am and there was a little noise sometimes from other guests in corridor / other rooms, but it didn't affect our stay particularly
• Room: 2.5 Average at best ... small and in fairly poor condition (air conditioner worked, but the panel had come off, peeling paint, balcony door which didn't slide properly, etc.)
• Value for money: 7.5 It was cheap ... if you just want a base in the centre to explore Barcelona from, and aren't worried about luxury for your accommodation, I'd recommend it.

• Positive: the honesty from the reception guy, because he told us that during our stay at the hotel it could be a bit noisy, due to a school trip that was staying there. He told us to go to another hotel (neraby) and we did an upgrade to a 4 star hotel!
