• Positive: In a town that bustles with pilgrims, street musicians and vendors, San Matin Pinario shuts off the noise when you enter its cloister like setting. It has all the makes of the old monastery and is located across from the Cathedral and convent to all the bustle when I want to join it. Enjoyed my stay. Gracias. Oh and an employee gave me his aspirin when I had a migraine at 3am. The best!

• Location: 10 The best! Located at the side of the Cathedral, just steps from the square where you can enjoy shops, good food and the street entertainment.
• Common facilities and services: 10 Little niches everyone to relax and enjoy good company.
• Staff: 10 Pleasant, helpful and didn't mind using their English skills.
• Quietness: 10 Peace garden at the center of the hotel to retreat into.
• Room: 10 Basic doesn't justify the simple elegance of the room. No amenities, but lovely. Quality bed and linen. Small desk and a lovely view of the European rooftops.
• Value for money: 10 I paid around 85 Euros, but one of the booking sites wanted 100's of Euros for this hotel. I booked direct through the Hotel. Good value at 85 Euros.
