La Casa Grande Do Bachao house is a complex which is a typical example of the architectural style of Galicia in the 18th Century. It is located 20 minutes from Santiago de Compostela within an extensive farmhouse surrounded by gardens and centenary trees. It has two granaries, a typical Galician cross “cruceiro” and spacious stone terraces in the middle of an estate with an area of 14,000 m2 with direct acces to the River Tambre. It is managed directly by the owner and provides all of the comforts demanded in a hotel of a high category without losing its rustic and family flavour.

- Positive: The hotel was in a beautiful location and it was very tastefully decorated, clean and cosy. The owner was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The facilities, such as sauna and pool were lovely and the food was excellent.
- Negative: The directions on the hotel's website state that the turning for the hotel is around the 11km mark on the road out of Santiago but it is actually around the 8km mark, so we did initially struggle to find it.

- Cleanliness: 10 La Habitación y los lugares comunes estaban muy limpios.
- Location: 10 Para turistas con transporte es una situación excelente,puedes visitar los alrededores sin problema ya que santiago esta céntrico al zona que queríamos visitar
- Common facilities and services: 10 La variedad en cuanto a biblioteca, bar,comedor, piscina, sauna me pareció muy buena,el gimnasio un poco pequeño para quien lo disfrute...
- Staff: 10 No nos falto de NADA en ningún momento. Se nos facilito toda la información turística de las zonas que preguntamos, y el servicio de recepción,limpieza y comidas fue bueno y agradable.
- Quietness: 10 Mas tranquilidad yo diría que es difícil.
- Room: 7.5 La habitación es bonita, muy acogedora, un poco inutilizable la parte de las boardillas, la cama muy bien y los aseos muy cómodos y limpios también.
- Value for money: 7.5 la cantidad a pagar me parece buena debido a que la casa es un lugar muy especial que no se encuentra en cualquier sitio
