• Positive: Location, location, location! Could not have stayed in a better located area and yet it was peaceful and quiet in our room at night.
• Negative: The taxi cab driver did not drop us off at the hotel on our arrival from the train station, however on our departure the cab driver (called for us by the front desk) picked us up right in front. Also, the cab ride the hotel arranged for us was 1/4 of the price of the cab ride that we picked up at the train station on arrive. Hats off to the staff for taking good care of this for us.

• Cleanliness: 10 A clean hotel room is extremely important to us. Duc de la Victoria was SPOTLESS on arrival and every day of our stay. This hotel has one of the largest assortments of toiletries I have encountered.
• Location: 10 I consider this hotel to be the perfect location for a visit to Barcelona. Moments away from La Ramblas and many major attractions, or to the means to get to them (ie: Bus Turistic, underground, etc.) An easy walk to so many things, yet quiet and peaceful at night.
• Common facilities and services: 10 Ecellent breakfast buffet (included in our room booking). We highly recommend including this in the price of your stay. A great way to start your busy day.
• Staff: 10 Very friendly, helpful and spoke excellent English, which was much appreciated.
• Quietness: 10 Perfectly quiet and peaceful!
• Room: 10 We loved our view from the tiny balcony. Each time of day brought a differnt scene to view! Nice size room with all amenities we needed. Incredibly comfortable bed in room 325.
• Value for money: 10 Great value for the location. Well worth the price. Since October two friends have already booked thier upcoming stay at the Duc de la Victoria!

• Room: 5 We asked for a balcony and it proved to be a bare space overlooking the nearby rooftop air-conditioners. Also the bathroom was really, really tiny.
