• Room: 5 First room terrible, second room nice. Twin beds only with twin sheets despite booking a double bed. Charge extra to be able to use the I room safe and program in your own code (have never encountered this before).

• Would you recommend it? Yes
• Positive: Large (unusual in Europe) attractive room, with an easy chair, a desk and chair, tons of closet space and large cubbies. We also had a balcony terrace with seating. Room was quiet. Lovely decor and lobby. Gracious, helpful, reception personnel. Would stay here again! Oh and we were allowed in to the rooom early, which was such a blessing.
• Negative: Glass shower wall only extended half way, so when we showered, some water got on the floor. We compensated by using the hand held wand instead of the shower head.
• I RECOMMEND it for... Young travelers, Older travelers, Families, Couples, Peace seekers, Classic style lovers, Modern style lovers, Business travelers

• Location: 10 Perfect location, convenient to Placa de Catalunya metro and in the Barre Gothic (old city) area.

• Location: 7.5 Conveniently located, though proximity to the Ramblas resulted in some night noise.
• Common facilities and services: 7.5 The breakfasts offered were alright-but the quality was below that offered by similar hotels I stayed at in Spain. The pastry/croissants were not fresh and to offer processed cheese would be acceptable at McDonald’s but not here.
• Staff: 5 The front desk staff, as mentioned, was excellent. The wait staff in the breakfast area tended to be surly. We understood and accepted that food items were not to be taken, but when my wife simply sought to fill her water bottle to prevent dehydration during our walks, she received a sharp scolding from one of the waitresses. That was unacceptable.
