• Positive: All the staff were really lovely, everyone was friendly and helpful all the time. We used the tennis court several times and you can borrow decent rackets and balls from the hotel. Also the pool was great, with lots of loungers around so you could be choosy about how much sun you wanted.
• Negative: The only thing I disliked was the two single beds we had in the bungalow. Pushing them together and ending up in the crack in the middle never ends in the best night's sleep. But apparently all the bungalows only have singles, so there's not much you can do about that.

• Location: 5 The local town has lots of lovely restaurants and places to explore, so you could easily stay just in Competa. BUT it's an hour on the bus to the beach and two hours to Malaga city.
