• Positive: Room was excellent and kept very clean and tidy by the hotel staff.
• Negative: We were not told upon arrival that we must leave our key at reception when we went out. As a result we were questioned somewhat agressively by a receptionist when we returned one evening.

• Location: 10 Right in the heart of Madrid close to shops, and lots of bars, cafes & restaurants.
• Common facilities and services: 7.5 Would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room in an ideal world but otherwise very good.
• Staff: 5 Most were very good but one receptionist and one waiter in the coffee shop came across as almost agressive in their attitude.
• Quietness: 7.5 Very little noise in the hotel and really good sound proofing from the outside when the balcony doors were closed.
• Room: 7.5 More than adequate room for 4 of us.
• Value for money: 7.5
