• Positive: Newly renovated room; very nicely designed from a functional perspective as well as an aesthetic one. The location was excellent as well.
• Negative: Two important things: 1. At present, the renovations make it less than a perfect hotel experience. 2. Air France connecting flight kept me in Marseille for the 1st of three nights scheduled. In spite of Air France calling the hotel for me, and adjusting the reservation for the following two nights and taking full responsibility, Le Meridien Barcelona still charged me for the room when it had been physically impossible for me to get there. While technically within their rights, it represents poor business sense and would alter my perception of this establishment.

• Location: 10 Excellent Location: Right on Las Ramblas
• Common facilities and services: 5 Hotel continues under heavy renovations with no principal lobby currently. Not mentioned in any web or phone interaction. Temp checkout desk with lines of 25 people at checkout specifically on 24/08/07 unpleasant.
• Staff: 10 Could not have been nicer.
• Quietness: 7.5
• Room: 10 I must say that the newly renovated room was extraordinary; beautiful, modern and with interesting and useful detail everywhere you looked. Kudos to the designer.

• Positive: location of the hotel - I was travelling with my daughter so it was easy to get to where ever we wanted to be and if we were out late at night it was not a concern as we were located in the center with lots of security and police around as well as many people
