• Cleanliness: 10 Everything was spotless all of the time!!!! Maid service was wonderful, coming as late as 2pm if you wanted a siesta!
• Location: 10 Fab!!!! Literally 10 mins walk to La Rambla and 10 mins the other way to the funicular to MontJuic. Don%27t believe the reviews about dodgy streets, VERY over the top!!!!!
• Common facilities and services: 7.5 No restaurant but we wanted to eat around Barcelona anyway. An excellent tapas bar across the square called La Fragua was perfect for us. (Ask for Leo for english translations!)
• Staff: 10 Always say hello when you come in and goodbye on the way out. We had asked if poss to get a king size bed instead of 2 singles in a twin room at the time of booking and the minute we confirmed our name they said they were getting the room ready for us then and there! Very polite and helpful.
• Quietness: 10 Excellent! The rooms are soundproofed so even with the live stage, 20+ stalls and beer tent right outside, we didn%27t hear a thing! Perfect!
• Room: 7.5 Rooms are fine. Plasma tv, power shower with bidet in bathroom. Very clean and everything brand new. Only BBC 24 as english speaking tv channel but we didn%27t go to watch tv so fine for us!!! Bed was very comfortable and good storage space in wardrobe and free safe usage. Great air con and trouser press too. Mini bar prices cheaper than the pub in the UK!!Needs some pictures to liven up the walls to make it a bit less clinical but not really a complaint, just a suggestion. Room size if ok, not tiny but not massive.
• Value for money: 10 Had no complaints at all. You get what it says on the tin!
