Ayre Gran Hotel Colón has recently been renovated to accommodate the needs of not only clients who are there for business, but also for pleasure. The hotel is located close to the 'Paseo del arte' and the 'Parque del Retiro', easily accessible from the Airport of Madrid and the 'Recinto Ferial de IFEMA' (Juan Carlos I business centre). The hotel is also located close to the major train and bus stations. One detail worth mentioning is the glasswork and frescos decorating the lounges, lobbies, cafeteria and restaurants. These are the work of renowned maestro Manuel Ortega, among whose important works one must mention the glasswork of Madrid’s Almudena Cathedral. The rooms are distributed in 2 buildings: Edificio Europa – C/Pez Volador, 1 and Edificio América – C/Pez Volador, 11. A number of the rooms have a terrace and a Wi-Fi connection.
