• Negative: Exteremly noisy bedroom due to the fact there was a door between our room and the next one and we could hear everything in the next room. The occupants were very loud. We could not sleep. Also in the morning all the beds were occupied by the pool every day so we ended up going to the beach instead. Bathrooms need to be renovated. Toilet seat was loose.

• Negative: La atención que nos prestaron brilló por su ausencia. Mi marido es diabético y el minibar no funcionaba pero nadie lo solucionó, nos dijeron en recepción que la insulina de mi marido podíamos meterla en el frigorífico del personal. Me ha decepcionado en cuanto calidad-precio. Mi reserva era con vistas al mar y tampoco fue así. En fin que con las ganas de estar en este hotel desde hace muchos años y cuando me lo he podido permitir, me ha decepcionado por completo. Claro que somos españoles y poco importantes. Gracias.

• Positive: Super vue et bonne emplacement de l'hôtel
• Negative: Très forte odeur de tabac froid incrustée dans la literie, les oreillers... Chambre défraichit. Matelas et sommier épouvantables, ressorts dans le dos. Applique lumineuse côté gauche du lit mal fixée au mur et dangereuse car faux contact. L'ensemble de la chambre et de l'hôtel laisse un sentiment de vieillot et surannée. Mes parents habitant Fuengirola depuis 35 ans, j'y viens donc une fois par an, après avoir assisté à la construction de cet hotel, il est grand temps de lui donner un coup de frais et de jeune. Même les salles de bain font vieillotte.

• Negative: Stayed here last year and was fairly satisfied, enough to make me go back again this year. How wrong was I , and unless there is a vast improvement in feedback, this might well be my last stay here. If anyone is looking at staying here, try to avoid the food at all costs. There is quite a selection of evening meals but don’t know whether I was eating pork, beef or lamb, as they all tasted the same. There is no taste at all with the food. Even the salad doesn’t taste right and how can you mess up a salad I don’t know. All food is bland having cut back to tasteless frozen or tinned foods. The potato chips had been cooked seemed like a day before, like hard tasteless bits of wood. After a week, I felt sick thinking about the next meal, absolutely dreadful. On the plus side, the staff are pretty good trying to make good of a dreadful situation. The staff entertainment were fairly good and I have to mention the duo Chris and Wendy (Vagas), were very good – it is worth a visit just to see what sounds Wendy can get out of the synth. and the polished professional vocal from Chris. An outside act by George a local soloist one evening was also very pleasing. The Yaramar is in need of a complete overhaul. Some areas of the hotel are looking very tired indeed.
