Hotel Alixares is located in front of the Alhambra, one of the most beautiful monuments all over the World. Fifteen minutes walking from the historical center of Granada. Easy access from the highway ( exit 132). Hotel Alixares has been completely renovated in 2004. Its rooms are climatized and have sat Tv, minibar, fully equiped bathroom, and safety box. The hotel has outdoor swimming-pool and it is surrounded by private gardens.

  • Negative: The hotel description shows that there is parking available. However, there no parking at the hotel instead there Public parking provided which cost 18.33 euros a day This hotel offers no discount for using the car park as it is the same price of euros 18.33. I booked full board and one of the most expensive rooms with a balcony/terrace choosing the twin bed option. When myself and my wife arrived late at the hotel we were offered a small room which had a small double bed. I was offered another room on a lower level and not the same class.as there did not have a room available with a twin bed. I had to accept or find other accommodation. It was next to the elevators which were noisy and had no views which is not what I had paid for. The hotel did not offer me a discount for this. Also although I had paid for full board the hotel tried to charge us for dinner, when I queried this the reception staff at first did not understand what "full board meant" Eventually they did and a suitable agreement was reached between us.

It is very important for us to know your opinion in order to improve our services. You have mentioned that the hotel hasn't got a Parking. We have our own Garage, but it just have a few places and maybe when you arrived it was aready full, that's why the Alhambra parking ,which is just in front of us, let our guests park there when we are full. In relation to the room, most of the rooms with terrace have 1 double bed, so it is posible that, at your arrival, the rooms with two beds and terrace were already occupied by other guests, that is why we just could offer you the room with double bed or a room with twin beds but without the breakfast.   • Negative: The mortar between tiles looks like it needs to be cleaned. The bathroom is clean, but because of the dirty looking mortar the whole bathrooms feels less clean. Another thing we disliked is the fact that the rooms have really thin walls. We could hear our neighbour speak and the other one using the bathroom.

Our location is ideal to visit the Alhambra and Granada. Our breakfast is extensive and varied. The pool is seasonal, closed on October 15, 1 month later than expected.
