• Quietness: 7.5 The quiet rooms are very quiet, but you must request them. The rooms on the Puerta del Sol side can be noisy, but it's fun to look down at all the action from your balcony.

• Value for money: 7.5 Our only complaint was the street noise that went on all night long - making it difficult to sleep. It would be nice to have a small refrigerator in the rooms. Also felt that there should not be an extra charge to use the safe. It is in everyone's best interest to prevent theft!

• Staff: 10 the staff was helpful, friendly, but not intrusive. the perfect mix of professionalism and kindness
• Quietness: 7.5 the plaza is always a bit loud, but that's what's great about the location--it's very energizing. ask for an interior room if you are disturbed by outside noise
